James Quick, long a resident of Sugar Creek, took sick last Monday morning with spasmodic colic and died Monday morning. Quick was a very industrious, hard working man, and had hardly reached the prime of life, being 26 years of age. He leaves a young wife and adopted parents, to mourn his premature end. His funeral was preached by Bro. McClain at Potato Creek Church to a large and attentive assemblage.
